In "Progressive Mem of Montana", 1900, pg 496-498 as referenced by web site members.aol.com/danakiehl/private/kiehlmom.txt it lists her as Judith Stewart Boyd daughter of David Boyd. She was born in Viriginia and comes from early Irish settlers in the VA colony. She died in MT in 1875, having lived with Phillip since 1871.
