Something to Read

WRITER’S GUIDELINES

A celebration of nature, life, home, and humanity,
‘Something to Read’ seeks to bring uplifting and moving writing to the reader.

We appreciate vibrant writing and beautiful, lyric language.  We look for strongly defined characters and delightful or clever images.  "If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report, we seek after these things."

Primarily, we publish all kinds of fiction and poetry, but we will consider well-written non-fiction.  No horror, dark fantasy, or erotica. We are a family friendly magazine.   Those wishing to contribute photos or artwork should query for our current needs.

#10 SASE should accompany manuscripts and proper postage if you wish the manuscript returned.  Please submit nothing longer than 3000 words without querying first and no more than 5 poems at a time.  No simultaneous submissions.  We pay 2 copies to submitters upon publication.
